"Back in 2008, my husband and I purchased our first home, a condo in Northern Virginia. Before we met Katie, we'd gone through four or five other realtors and they all struck us as amateurish. When we met Katie we finally realized what we'd been missing. Katie understands the concerns of a first-time home buyer and assuages any worries with her deep knowledge of the field. She's confident, honest, and a highly skilled deal-maker. She knows exactly when a deal is going to fly and when it's going to go south. "I am a huge fan of Katie Wethman and her team. I was referred to her by a colleague after having had been through two other agents who were pushy, unprofessional and who clearly cared more about getting me to put an offer on ANY place rather than one I liked. Katie was super informative, she took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and she also gave me an enormous amount of very well organized (and thus not overwhelming) information that was really helpful for me, especially as a first time buyer. Two days before we were to close, my lender realized he couldn't get it done and Katie immediately referred me to another lender who sealed the deal within two weeks! I was so stressed but Katie was cool and calm throughout.
I just moved, two years later, and I used Katie and team to sell my place. Again, as this was the first time I was going through the process, she took the time to explain the process in detail and the market statistics, her thoughts on pricing, how to stage our home, timing of when to list, etc...
